Traveling:
Participants arrive in Cyprus mainly through Larnaca airport. There will be available busses at Larnaca airport to transfer participants to the hotel in Nicosia. The bus-schedule will be sent to you at a later stage.

For better arrangements, please state on the Registration Form your exact flight details. Every effort will be made to satisfy your preference.

Insurance
It is recommended that participants arrange insurance for medical expenses, loss and accidents occurring during the conference. The organizers cannot be held responsible for any losses, damages or injuries.

Local Currency
The currency of the Republic of Cyprus is the Euro - €

Credit Cards
All major credit cards are accepted widely, but not everywhere. If in doubt, ask in advance.

Official Language
Greek and Turkish are the official languages of the Republic of Cyprus. However, English is widely spoken.

Climate and Weather

Cyprus enjoys a Mediterranean climate with long dry summers from mid-May to mid-October and with mild winters from December to February, which are separated by short autumn and spring seasons. The average temperature in November is 25 oC daytime and 15 oC during evenings.

Electricity
Electricity supply is 240 volts, a.c.50Hz. Sockets are usually 13amps, square pin in most buildings. The hotel can provide adaptors upon request.

Chemist Pharmacies / Drug Stores
They stay open during shopping hours. Late night chemists are listed in the daily papers.
